• Our property does not have laundry facilities.
• Our remote location may often limit cell phone reception. 
• All cabins have Air Conditioning and Heat.
• On-site Oak Creek Canyon Coffee House is open daily 7am-5pm.
• Holidays require a 3-night minimum stay.
• Check-in: 4:00pm Check-out: 11:00 am
• Specific cabins can be requested, but not guaranteed. 
• Quiet hours are from 9pm-7am. This is a county ordinance.
• Cash and all major Credit Cards (Visa, Master Card, and American Express) are accepted.
• Cash is not accepted for reservations.

We understand that your furry friends are part of the family, and we’re delighted to welcome well-behaved dogs to Don Hoel’s Cabins. To ensure a pleasant stay for all our guests, please review our pet policy below:

Pet Fee:

• Dogs under 25 lbs: $50 per stay.
• Dogs over 25 lbs: $75 per stay.
• Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring your pet so we can make the necessary arrangements and provide a comfortable stay for your furry companion.

Pet Rules:

• Dogs must not be left unattended inside the cabin at any time.
• Ensure your dog is on a leash when outside the cabin and within the property grounds.
• Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pets and will be charged accordingly.
• Please pick up after your pet immediately.
• Excessive barking that disturbs other guests is not permitted.
• By adhering to these guidelines, you’ll help us maintain a pet-friendly environment for all our guests. Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to hosting you and your four-legged friend at Don Hoel’s Cabins!

• In order to preserve the pristine environment,  we are a NON-smoking property.
• No fire pits allowed on property. 
• County-wide fire ban effective January, 01 2023.

• “No Shows” will be charged for the entire reservation.
• Single Night bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking, and are not cancellable.
• Single night stays are non-refundable.
• Single Cabin cancellations require a 14 day notice prior to the scheduled arrival date. For reservations of 2 or more nights, if a cancellation is made less than 14 days before the arrival date, you are responsible and will be charged for the entire reservation, less any nights we are able to re-rent.  In the event that we are able to re-rent your entire reservation, only a $30.00 fee will be assessed.
• Holidays and Multi-Cabin booking cancellations require a 30 day notice prior to the scheduled arrival date. If a cancellation is made less than 30 days before the arrival date, you are responsible and will be charged for the entire reservation, less any nights we are able to re-rent.  In the event that we are able to re-rent your entire reservation, only a $30.00 fee will be assessed (per cabin).
• Large Group cancellations require a 90 day notice prior to the scheduled arrival date. If a cancellation is made less than 90 days before the arrival date, you are responsible and will be charged for the entire reservation, less any nights we are able to re-rent.  In the event that we are able to re-rent your entire reservation, only a $30.00 fee will be assessed (per cabin).
• Don Hoel’s has the right to refuse service or cancel any reservation if deemed necessary. 
• $25 processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

• Private Creek Access:
  We’re fortunate to offer private creek access for your enjoyment. Whether you’re fishing, wading, or simply relaxing by the water, please respect the natural beauty of this area. Be mindful of the environment and wildlife, and remember to leave no trace behind.
• Disconnect and Connect with Nature:
  No WiFi: Calm Coves Cabin is intentionally designed as a digital detox destination. There is no WiFi available, allowing you to fully disconnect from the online world and reconnect with the natural world around you.
  No Cable/TV: Instead of TV, we encourage you to unwind by reading a book, playing board games, or stargazing. The absence of screens will help you immerse yourself in the tranquility of the surroundings.
• Outdoor Activities:
  Explore the hiking trails nearby.
  Enjoy the private deck and barbecue grill for outdoor meals.
  Birdwatching, wildlife photography, and nature walks are highly recommended.
• Safety and Consideration:
  Please be cautious when using the fireplace and firepit. Keep children and pets at a safe distance.
  Use the provided waste bags to clean up after your pets.
  Respect quiet hours to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests.
• Supplies and Amenities:
  The cabin is equipped with essential amenities, including a fully stocked kitchen (one frying pan, sauce pain and pot, plus tableware and utensils), bedding, and towels.
  If you need additional supplies or have any questions during your stay, feel free to contact our property management team.
• Departure Instructions:
  Before you check out, please ensure that the cabin is left in a tidy condition.
  Remove all personal items and trash.
  Follow the provided check-out instructions for locking up and returning the key.

Self-Check-In: On the day of your arrival, simply follow the provided instructions to access the cabin. There’s no need to pick up keys or wait at a front desk.
